Fire pit sealing differs slightly from the process we follow with any other nature of brick paver hardscape, primarily because fire pits are already locked in place and so we do not need to apply sand to any joints. With a fire pit we are not looking to achieve stability since that is already there from the installation. What we aim to achieve with fire pits is to give your favorite marshmallow-roasting space that extra pop that your guests will love. 

We will use our high pressure, high volume pressure washing equipment to get your old fire pit looking brand new, applying a chlorine rinse to the entire surface before we seal it to make sure it is nice and sterilized before we seal. We then apply a thick coat of our two-part water-based urethane sealer. ​

In some cases we may also apply a color tint to the sealer to provide a little more uniformity to the finish. Tints are available in beige, gray, red and brown - call us for more information.
